The Stranger in the Mirror

As if a mirror,
The pond showed my reflection as I
Watched myself grow into a different person.
An unfamiliar person.
A stranger.
I seemed so out of Place.
I had completely forgotten who I was;
A treasure hidden beneath the surface of my skin.
